Students' Top Presentation Tips

According to the GoogleDocs Poll, here,  students' rated the following tips as most important.

• Practice, practice and more practice until you are comfortable with your presentation and with your speaking voice.  
• Write your presentation, or the main points of it on a set of small cards and have them with you. Know that no matter what you may forget they are there if you need them.  
• Relax – Nervous Energy can be tapped and used as enthusiasm in your presentation.

Have #hashtags come of age politically?

Twitter is not just a celebrity stalking tool for people without a life.  Twitter is also used by politicians and activists to shape the political agenda. Of course, you could also argue that politicians and activists are also people without a life!
